Not so exciting, continued...

Thanks for the hand-off, Jasper. So after school, either Daddy or Mommy picks us up. Usually I get picked up first, then we go to get Jasper down the street. Here I am at good-bye circle time, moving my name sign from the "in" to "out" space.

Most days after school, but before we go home, we do what Daddy generously refers to as a "family activity" but which sometimes feels to us an awful lot like "errands" - like, for example, on this particular day, the "Lowe's Home Improvement Safari"...

Immediately followed by the "pick-up a few things from our storage unit adventure..." As you can see, our activities often involve helping Daddy and doing some labor for him, but at least we're also rewarded with a snack.

Then, we finally get home and back to our toys. We love playing together!

That is, until we get a bit cranky from the long day and getting a bit hungry before dinner, and need a little "time-out" from each other...

But we always quickly make-up, and find a new game to play - on this particular day, it was "make-believe birthday party." Me made make-believe cupcakes and snacks, and Mommy and Daddy were the special guests.

Then it's dinner time (and since we've recounted our eating habits here many times in the past, I'll skip that) and a quick bath (all too quick for us, never quick enough for Mommy and Daddy.)

Once we're dried off but before we go to sleep, we get a few night-night books read to us - except lately, Jasper has been showing off his reading skills by sometimes reading the books for us instead of Mommy or Daddy!

And then, finally, time for bed.

See how (un)exciting this all was? Hopefully this weekend has somewhat more stimulating activities in store for us - ones that don't require us to carry shopping bags for Daddy but that give us some good material for blogging. Have a nice weekend, everyone!
