Tooth

Well, it seems like Juno would like me to say something about this picture. Do you notice anything missing? I lost one of my top teeth! We were having a BBQ and I was eating a hot dog when all of a sudden I lost my tooth! IN MY HOT DOG! OK, it wasn't exactly stuck in my hot dog but the hot dog made my tooth fall out.

I was quite worried about this. Back in NYC, my tooth was starting to get really wiggly. I asked Mommy and Daddy whether the tooth fairy visits Hawaii. They said they weren't sure. And you know what? She does know where Hawaii is!

If you want to catch up on our Hawaiian adventures, please see Juno's blog.

I'm 4!!

I'm a pretty lucky boy to be able to celebrate my birthday in Hawaii. I woke up to presents from Mommy, Daddy and Jasper - more CARS WITH EYES! We spent the day down at Waikiki beach and then the Honolulu Aquarium visiting my favorite fish - Humunukunukuapua'a! I love them. Capped off the evening with the sunset and a big bowl of vanilla ice cream.

Saying hello to the Humu.

Aloha

It's finally vacation time! We're in Hawaii and enjoying the sun and sand and surf so much so that we wanted to share pictures with you all. I know, it's been a while. The thing is is that if we are going to share pictures, there isn't going to be much commentary. I think that the pictures speak for themselves.

Here are some snapshot from our little home on a lagoon and from our adventures on the North Shore on Tuesday.

4th of July

So fine, we're doing a little bit of catch-up on the blog. Here's how we spent the 4th of July - at the beach! What did you do?

Fun in the sand

As you might have gathered, we've spent a LOT of time at the beach while in Montauk. But, not all of that time was water time. You see, we also went to the beach quite a bit just to play in the sand, enjoy the clean air, and burn off some energy.

Some days, Daddy would even take us to the beach first thing in the morning, when there was hardly anyone there. We'd enjoy the sunrise and sometimes even breakfast on the sand...

Then, we'd often practice writing in the sand...

And then, once our breakfast settled nicely in our bellies, we'd play games - our favorite, "get as close as you can to the water without getting soaked"...

Neither Daddy nor Mommy seemed to mind us burning all that energy - all the better for nice long naps in the afternoon!

Beach with Dziadek

As you might have noticed in post from the beginning of our Montauk vacation, Babcia came with us and stayed for a few days at the very start. Then Babcia had to go home and it was just Mommy, Daddy, Everett and me for about a week. And then - Dziadek came!

The best part about Dziadek coming was that he - unlike Mommy and Daddy - was willing to go into the cool ocean water with us as much as we wanted. Typically, I would be the first one to plunge in with Dziadek...

While Everett would watch from the beach, deciding whether he wanted to dip his toes in as well...

I was glad to have Dziadek in the water all to myself for a bit while Everett made up his mind - all the better to go in a little deeper and really plunge in...

Uh-oh, looks like Everett just about made up his mind...

Usually it wouldn't take him very long, and before long he'd be frolicking with us...

And you know what? In the end, I think he was always the one who had the most fun!
