ZOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! And Friday Fish Fry. And Custard.

While we are in Milwaukee, we went to the zoo Friday so that I could see fishies and other animals. And we also saw a ginormous polar bear. We went on the zoo train but it had a bit of an accident as we were approaching the station. We had to get off and walk the last bit. What an adventure!

Since it was Friday, we went to have Friday Fish Fry at Lakefront Brewery. Of course, there was polka dancing and bubbles to keep us entertained too. We topped off the night with some custard from Kopp's. I really liked my custard. Can you tell?

Mil-Wau-Kee!!

We're baaaack!!

Ha! We're not back to regular blogging silly. We're back in Milwaukee! After a one-year hiatus, we couldn't wait to return to one of our favorite cities and to visit Auntie Tracy / K-Ma Tracy. As soon as we arrived, we reacquainted ourselves with the area...particularly the pool.

After we got home and showered, we played a little Guitar Hero.

Then went out to dinner. It was delicious. Everett definitely thought so.

And that was day one. Maybe we'll actually blog about our trip? Hmmm, we'll think about it.

School Projects

I can't believe that I'm almost done with Kindergarten! It's been such a fun year and I've learned so much. We gone on lots of field trips, adopted a class tree in Prospect Park, grew vegetables (pea shoots, radishes, lettuce), learned new songs, and wrote books and poems. I always seem to come home with stack of drawings and worksheets.

However, this was the most elaborate project I made in Kindergarden - a bridge made out of toothpicks and marshmallows! I did have a little help from my learning buddy who is a 5th grader.

While it was fun to make, Everett and I had other plans for it...

Should I be an architect or civil engineer when I grow up?
