So, we didn't just sing happy birthday to Mommy for her birthday. We also took her out for an outing at one of our favorite parks - Pier 1 at Brooklyn Bridge Park. It starts right under the Brooklyn Bridge and then wraps around the Brooklyn waterfront to Pier 6 which is the site of the "new playground" which, I guess, isn't so new anymore. We had lots of fun running around and exploring the park but boy was it hot out!
