We realize that we've been very delinquent in posting to the blog during the past week or two. Partially, it's because Mommy and Daddy haven't had the time to help us with the typing and uploading of pictures (they keep saying something about being too busy with work, but I don't know what that means.)
But the real reason is that Jasper and I have both been quite busy ourselves - playing! Playdates, concerts and parties have been taking up all our time - have a look.
Over the weekend, we went to a concert at a great new venue near our house called The Bellhouse, and saw a performance by a very popular local kid's music artist, Suzi Shelton. The concert was packed, lots of our friends were there, and we had a blast.
Then earlier this week, Jasper had a playdate with one of his buddies from school, Gordon. They spent a lot of time making music and goofing around (yes, that's Jasper jumping on his bed, which he knows he's not allowed to do, but let's just say that Jasper's playdates with his guy friends are very different from his playdates with his girlfriends in terms of the amount of physical activity that takes place...)
And it looks like all that physical activity eventually took its toll and the boys needed to take a rest...
Meanwhile, I had a playdate with a new girlfriend of my own, Lucy. See what a good sharer I am?
Then finally, a couple of days ago, we went to Jasper's friend Leonie's birthday party. It was a theme party, with lots of princesses running around, and lots of chaos in general.
I mainly hung back and watched...
And hung out with Hugo...
While Jasper took every opportunity to stuff cupcakes in his mouth when Daddy wasn't looking (or so he thought)...
He sure is taking every advantage of his new found ability to eat eggs, isn't he?
Well, it doesn't look like the rest of this week, weekend or next week will be any less busy for any of us, but we do have some major events, travel, and of course the holidays coming up, so we'll do our best to keep up here!
