Summer is here!

No, really. First it was Spring in January, now it's Summer in April. The weather so far this weekend has been spectacular, and definitely Summer-like, and is projected to get even hotter as the new week begins, with temperatures potentially reaching 80 degrees!

And we're not ones to waste opportunities like this, of course, so bright and early in the morning, we insisted that Mommy and Daddy come up with a good family outing for the day. Since Mommy had to run some weekend errands in Manhattan anyway, that's where we all decided to head. Our first stop was Chelsea Market to pick up some grub for an outdoor lunch picnic later. We love Chelsea Market, especially the wishing well, where we could throw in pennies and make wishes all day long.

Do you know what we were wishing for today?...

That our birthday cakes would look like this from now on!

That, and that this beautiful weather continues, so instead of standing around wishing about it, we made a beeline for our favorite city park, the High Line, perched right above Chelsea Market, and got down to frolicking, running, playing choo-choo and just in general being silly for the next couple of hours.

By the time we were done playing and eating our picnic lunch, Mommy and Daddy declared it was time to head home for nap. We'll admit that we were two pooped boys, but we were not at all ready to go home, and had no trouble expressing our displeasure at this turn of events.

Luckily Sunday is supposed to be an even nicer day - can't wait to see what'll be in store for us then!
